The Archival 1930 is a limited edition rectangular watch by Fears, meticulously crafted in Britain to mark the company's 175th anniversary. This final batch comprises just 130 pieces, each featuring original vintage movements and hand-finishing.

Hand-built to reflect the art deco style of Fears' 1930s watch, the Archival 1930 boasts a slim, rectangular case machined from high-grade 316L stainless steel in Germany. It retains the elegant proportions of its predecessor while subtly increasing in size to suit modern tastes. The case is finished with a blend of brushed and polished surfaces, designed to sit comfortably on the wrist. The winding crown bears the distinctive Fears ‘pipette’ logo.

The dial, reminiscent of the original, features a polished base plated in 18ct yellow gold, topped with a matte Champagne finish. Crisp black ‘Deco’ numerals offer clear contrast, complementing the vintage gold border.

Precision-crafted ‘Fears-shaped’ hands, expertly milled and diamond-polished, enhance visibility with their rich blue hue against the light dial.

Housing a rare ‘new old stock’ ETA 2360 movement from the 1960s, each watch undergoes meticulous rebuild and reconditioning in Fears' workshop, ensuring reliable timekeeping within +/-20 seconds a day.

Accompanied by a handmade Bristol Leather strap in Oxblood Red and presented in a bespoke Fears Blue stained wooden box, the Archival 1930 is a testament to craftsmanship and heritage, limited to just 175 pieces, each uniquely numbered to signify its historical significance.
