The sportier Fears watch.
Hand-built in Britain, the graceful and complex Brunswick 40 takes its inspiration from a gentleman’s cushion case watch in the Fears archives, first made in 1924. This sportier iteration is perfect for any occasion, from beach to boardroom.
The Brunswick 40 features an elegant yet sporty 40 mm cushion-shaped case with no flat surfaces. Machined from 316L stainless steel in Hong Kong, the case showcases sophisticated machinery and skilled craftsmanship with a polished, hand-grained finish. The bespoke 'onion'-shaped screw-down crown, signed with the Fears Cypher, adds a touch of radiance. The watch is 150m water-resistant, suitable for swimming when the crown is fully screwed in.
The Flamingo Pink dial, made in Germany, is coated in special matt lacquer, with a unique shade that changes vibrancy in different light. The ‘Edwin’ numerals, milled from brass and coated in black gold, give a bright, silver/white appearance. The distinctive ‘Fears’-shaped hands are also milled from brass, with a diamond-polished bevel for excellent legibility, finished in black gold.
Powered by a Swiss-made, automatic winding ETA 2824-2 movement, the Brunswick 40 offers precise control and reliability. The date mechanism is removed, ensuring no "ghost" date position.
The bespoke stainless steel 5-link bracelet, with brushed and polished links, ensures a comfortable fit. The bracelet is micro-adjustable and features a trigger-release butterfly clasp with the Bristol flower enamelled inside. Quick-release spring bars allow easy strap changes without tools.
Each watch carries a unique serial number, engraved between the lugs at 12 o’clock, helping Fears identify your watch and its history.
