Hand-built in Britain, the contemporary Fears Brunswick 40 is an elegant and sophisticated timepiece inspired by a gentleman’s cushion case watch from 1924. This sporty iteration is designed to transition seamlessly from beach to boardroom.

The 40mm cushion-shaped case, made from 316L stainless steel, features no flat surfaces. Its polished curves and hand-grained finish highlight the craftsmanship involved. The bespoke ‘onion’-shaped winding screw-down crown, signed with the Fears Cypher, adds a touch of radiance. The Brunswick 40 is 150m water-resistant, suitable for swimming when the crown is fully screwed in.

The Salmon dial, expertly crafted in Germany, features a two-level design with a fine sandblasted lower section and a hand-brushed outer section. The hand-applied numerals, crafted from brass and coated in black gold, are realised in the custom ‘Edwin’ typeface, adding a sophisticated touch.

The distinctive ‘Fears’-shaped hands, milled from solid brass and coated in black gold, ensure excellent legibility. The watch is powered by a Swiss-made ETA 2824-2 automatic movement, modified in Britain for precision.

The Brunswick 40 comes with a bespoke 5-link stainless steel bracelet, featuring solid screw links for a comfortable fit, and a handmade Raven Black strap crafted from durable Buffalo leather. The bracelet and strap can be easily adjusted or replaced using quick-release spring bars. Each watch is individually numbered, ensuring its uniqueness and traceability.
