Hand-built in Britain, the Fears Brunswick 40 is an elegant and sophisticated watch inspired by a 1924 gentleman’s cushion case design. This sporty model transitions seamlessly from beach to boardroom. The 40mm cushion-shaped case, crafted from 316L stainless steel, features polished curves and a hand-grained finish. It is complemented by an 'onion'-shaped screw-down crown, providing a 150m water resistance.
The Brunswick 'Aurora' features a unique mother-of-pearl dial made from Pinctada Maxima oyster shells, hand-tinted for a distinctive blue hue. The dial is meticulously crafted in Germany, with hand-applied numerals milled from brass and coated in rhodium, using Fears' custom ‘Edwin’ typeface.
The watch is powered by a Swiss-made ETA 2824-2 automatic movement, modified in Britain for precision, with the date mechanism removed for better control. The movement is known for its accuracy, reliability, and ease of servicing.
The Brunswick 'Aurora' comes with an Aegean Blue Buffalo Nubuck strap, sourced from the Himalayas and tanned using traditional methods. The strap combines the durability of buffalo leather with the luxurious feel of suede. Additionally, the watch can be fitted with a bespoke stainless steel 5-link bracelet featuring quick-release spring bars for easy customisation.
Each Brunswick 40 carries a unique serial number, engraved between the lugs at 12 o’clock, ensuring the watch’s authenticity and traceability.
